Bob Thackeray is a member of the Oshawa & Pineridge Art Associations and the Durham West Art Centre.  Landscapes and still life in traditional oils are Bob's favorite subjects.  In 2008 Bob studied at the               Academy of Realist Art in Toronto to learn the classical painting techniques taught in the 19th century European academys.  You can see a sample of this teaching in the portrait of "Homer" on the Artist Collection page of this web site.
